The mfish Phone Lanyard can be adjusted from approximately 33.5 to 59.1 inches, or 85 to 150 centimeters, for neck or crossbody wear. Protective covers conceal USB-C connectors within the strap. When charging is needed, the connectors can be removed from their covers and connected to a compatible USB-C power source and device.
“The starting point was a simple question: can an accessory people already wear perform another useful job?” an mfish spokesperson said. “Integrating the charging cable into the lanyard keeps it close at hand without adding another loose item to a pocket or bag.”
The cable is designed for up to a 240W maximum rating when used with compatible equipment. That figure describes the cable's maximum design rating, not the power every connected device will receive. Actual charging power is determined by the power source, connected device, supported protocol and charging conditions.
Two sliding adjusters allow the carrying length to be changed, while a 360-degree rotating connection helps the phone move more naturally as the wearer walks. The flat cable body is approximately 13.3 millimeters wide and uses a braided textile outer sleeve over an internal insulated cable structure.
For carrying, a slim tether tab is placed inside a compatible full-coverage phone case, with its loop extending through the case's charging-port opening. Both lanyard clasps then connect to the tether loop. The product is not recommended for open-bottom, half-coverage, loose or damaged cases that cannot securely retain the tether tab. Users should confirm that the case is fully seated and gently test the connection before wearing it.
During charging, the phone or other connected device should rest on a stable surface rather than hang unsupported from the USB-C connectors. Direct charging compatibility is limited to USB-C devices; products that use other connector formats require a separately purchased compatible adapter.
